My account was hacked and the person is trying to sell the account, Discord support will not reply!

    Submit a request.

    If you have, wait for a reply. (There may be delays)

    Creating new requests when you don't get a response will increase your response time.

    No response for 3 weeks?
    Create new request.

    This is not so much a complaint but trying to bring awareness to an issue that needs to be looked into asap, I understand there are probably tons of requests but when it comes down to someone stealing your account and using it to scam others and attempting to make charges on your account you kinda need support to be on that to at the very least disable the account, I have gone through and made the requests but can not get anyone to respond and waiting up to 3 weeks for a reply while a hacker is in your account scamming, messaging and gathering personal information is just unacceptable. At that point it doesn't just effect 1 account it's a security issue for multiple accounts.

     

    Also wait isn't this the feedback section? Wouldn't this be the perfect place to complain? Maybe I will start complaining if that's the attitude you're going to show towards your users when they are concerned about some hacker having access to their personal info for a week with little to no support on one of the biggest chat services in the world.

     

    Here's some feedback, how come one of the biggest chat services in the world doesn't have a live chat or support number to get in contact with issues that need to be looked into asap? Why does a user who was hacked have to let the hacker have complete ownership of the account for up to 3 weeks and possibly longer? Why do you not immediately disable an account that's being reported as stolen by the email that owns the account until you figure out what's going on? I'm sure you have ways to see that the account has been logged into from a different location on the backend to further prove the report as true, yet I have to wait more than a week possibly more than 3 weeks just to possibly be graced with an agent that will disable/delete the account?

     

    How about instead of support admins coming on here and shutting down users who have problems on a support board they try to assist their users? Do you not have the ability as a support admin to look at or escalate a ticket? Does Discord really not invest that much into providing support to their users (I mean all we have to contact you guys is a support email that gets flooded so the answer to that question is very clear)? Your copy & paste reply that you just drop in here and leave helps absolutely nobody and just shows how little you actually care about providing support to the users of this platform which further ruins the Discord Support reputation. 

     

    I'm perfectly fine with chalking up the super slow replies in the support email just being a terrible system (which is a huge reason to invest in a support # or live chat) and I'm sure the agents behind the email are for the most part great people that are just held back by this terrible support system, but replies like the one you sent just don't help anybody and honestly I question the purpose of having support admins if you can't even look into or escalate tickets, if all I should expect on here is a copy and paste reply followed by being ignored why even have a support board? Our subscription money is really going into funding this kind of support? Guess I won't be paying any more money to Discord and I recommend any readers do the same.

    This is an old post but it's still relevant. If anyone has any ideas of how to get a hold of responsive staff, let me know. It's annoying but it seems like I need to get creative just to get a reply.
