Age limit in Discord?

Hi,

my daughters, and the all from the elementary school in our village have regularly used the Discord since beginning of the outbreak, in other words the beginning of the online teaching. They used to participate on the online lessons by Discord on their desktop computer and our tablet in 2020 and 2021. Although there’s no on line teaching in theirs school now, but the Discord has became the part of their education.
My twelve-year-old daughter has recently got a smartphone. Yesterday she downloaded the Discord app onto her new smartphone, and she tried to log in. The phone asked her age, and she gave this information to it, but the phone answered she is too young for the Discord. Since that she hasn’t able to log in the Discord. The Discord doesn’t give any error messages after the unsuccess login.

I would like to ask how my daughter access her Discord account again to get the uploaded content by her teachers? Would it happen that my younger daughter or any other little students from the school will lost theirs access to the Discord, too?

    Hello. Discord requires you to be 13 years old or older to be able to use their services.

    In terms of Discord *ToS* it clearly says that to use discord you must be 13 years old or older, you can check here: https://discord.com/terms

    I believe this is why your daughter is having trouble accessing the account, well said that I think you already know what is happening if you act but any questions do not hesitate to ask.
