Shared Server-Ownership
This has been requested multiple times, I know.
I might even have submitted a feedback post talking about the same thing myself, sure (I might have had one but I don't currently have one, so no editing it for me).
But, I'm here to revisit and improve on my idea (in a code and realization perspective).
So my idea would be:
Shared Ownership, the typical idea would be multiple server owners but that can get problematic. For example a group of 3 make a server together, but they get into an arguement and split up. Who gets to keep the server now?
That's an issue I'm here to resolve.
My idea is closer to the Administrator option we have for roles, but it's not quite the same.
Introducing: Shared Ownership 2.0
So I don't want equals, but I also don't want unequals? Then what do I suggest to do instead?
Both.
Make it so that you don't have a role to apply, but rather a permission of sorts.
You can select a member in the server's members list and add them as Owner via "extend Ownership" (or something similar, just so it's clear it's not the same as transfering).
Owners have all the permissions the actual owner has, except they can not delete the server.
Edit: To make it "more secure" or rather so you don't just spam it there could...
1. ...be a limit to how many owners there can be.
2. ...there'd be a cooldown, so once you promote someone to be an owner you couldn't demote them for a given time and/or demoting would take like 12-24 hours or something?
3. ...it could be like banning or kicking someone. So basically you give a reason as to why.
Because well the big annoyance I have with being the server owner is that my 2 best buddies -who are also "Owners"- can not change my nickname on the server. It isn't a big deal per se, but we do it because we might come up with funny names for each other.
Shared Owners could have a silver crown to show they are owners as well.
If anyone's got any additions to this idea let me know below, I might also expand this idea to clear things up or make them better to understand.
If you've got any questions, let me know below as well, I'll answer there and update up here.
Thanks for reading, and up voting. If you didn't up vote maybe let me know why?
Edit 2: Maybe make it so that Owners are basically equal but have to "vote", for example to delete the Server. So they all get an email or text message to vote on a choice.

I was about to write a new post, but hey, you did it first :))
I would just like to add a reason for the shared ownership to be in the additions of a future Discord update, it's because if only one member is the owner of a server, and his account gets deleted / deactivated by Discord (I experienced that), the server will no longer be fully editable, or simply deletable.
One way to improve the shared ownership is by introducing a need for the server creator to add one or several "Backup owners", that would mean that if the main owner gets his account deleted, the "Backup owner" becomes the "Owner". Also, if a member loses access to his account, he could ask Discord to transfer the ownership. After 30 days of general Discord inactivity, all his ownerships wuold be transfered to the "Backup owner". As said in the message below, the server owner has the same abilities and permissions as the true owner, but to delete the server.
The true owner keeps however the full bans permissions, that means he can ban the backup owners.
To improve the general Discord shared ownership, the creator of the server (not the owner, but the creator) would still have full rights as of the nomination of new owners, as the "Full admin". If his account gets deleted but there are several owners, the first other owner to have been nominated as would become the "Full admin".
It's for me a really huge feature Discord could add. Please, Discord...
