User accounts are being disabled without explanation
Numerous user accounts are being disabled without any response from Discord. Although this has not happened to me, it happened to my friend, who had his account disabled without warning. Attempts to reach out to support for an appeal or explanation have simply yielded vague automated messages that don't provide any reasoning for the ban.
It seems unusual that there is a sudden wave of users who have all lost their account at around the same time without knowing why, and I would like to implore the Discord team to investigate this as a possible bug (perhaps with anti-spam filters).
Even if there are genuine reasons for these bans, I would still consider the complete lack of communication to be unprofessional; users who are banned should always be informed of what the offending content/behavior was and which rule(s) Discord deemed to be violated. When users lose their accounts and cannot determine why, the service comes off as untrustworthy and unreliable.
I really hope that the Discord team can provide a response to this phenomenon and clear up what is happening.

Not even kidding when i tell you that my account got disabled while i lost access and the support apperently gives a shit about what you write in your appeal because you get the same automated response yielded no matter what is in the appeal. Like, what did i do wrong? Yes, maybe i should have been more careful with my account but this happened once in 5 years of using discord and it went so wrong in so many ways, so fast.

I'm going through the same experience. No violations. I use a VPN for protection against tracking hackers, which is the only thing I can possibly think of that may have caused my account to be disabled. It's been 5 or so days since I submitted a request and no response. Don't expect any help from their "support" team. I'm thinking we get louder and share our experiences with media outlets. The lack of response from support is unprofessional, among other things.

I am facing the same issue that Supersnorlax5963 is describing. After doing some investigation in the community polls, yes this issue is also happening to multiple people, around the beginning of May, even into possibly late March. Appeal after appeal is being made on my part and the response is a very swift, unjust, violation of ToS copy and paste response from a Clyde bot. I completely agree that, although the Discord team may be swamped with requests, I find this to be extremely unprofessional. Like most people facing this issue, I was never given a reason of misconduct, nor a simple opportunity to correct it; if there even was an issue. An immediate perma deactivation out of the blue for no reason just sounds insane. I have no idea what's going on and for the first time in my life I find myself delving into community boards to try and get some idea of what may be happening? Possibly a bug? Who knows? I, like probably everyone else, just want my account back. Discord devs, please escalate this community post if possible. Too many people, at the same time, are facing the same issue. We deserve your attention and opportunity for justice.

I want to complain to customer service staff
Disabling my account without carefully understanding the situation and accused me of spamming
That is a worst user experience1 -
I had an account disabled once and now i have to enter a phone number every time i want on that account and i dont even have a phone number. I still think if it was a first flag it should be removed after a month or after a letter of apology to Discord. It makes people that don't have phone numbers restart their journey on Discord which is a waste of time. Good luck getting any help from submitting tickets without them automated messages. always saying the same "If our detection system has triggered a phone verification for your account, you'll be required to register a phone number to your Discord account in order to continue its use. We're unable to lift phone verification requirements on any accounts." We are never clear on what part of the Terms of Service we broke. They should be able to lift it after a period of time. We need people helping us not some damn automated messages that does jack shit and is not useful
