[Suggestion] a change in policy regarding server ownership
A while back my old account was banned (never got any reason besides "posting images/videos meant to shock or offend others") and I own a small YT/Twitch community server with 90 members. Sadly this is 10 short of meeting the first criteria to have an admin gain ownership (we all fear losing our community night and day) and we wonder if we will lose our hard work and community that many use as a means of staying sane and de-stressing, and is the reason a lot of us buy nitro. because of the developments a lot of users in the server just stopped buying nitro because they don't see much of a point to it, and we are all very displeased with the unfriendly stance against smaller communities, even if said communities are paying customers. I find it strange that someone can get banned, no dispute or reason to keep the account, yet can just make a new account so easily, and lose all their hard work in the process. If the policies were so hard spoken against TOS, shouldn't it be harder for people to regain an account? Or at the very least, save a lot of time and work for discord staff to actually dispute claims like this? Its apparent that Staff hardly cares for the app, but this is a community of real people with real lives were talking about. We would like to see a bit of thought and care put into a change for the better.
