Yubikey Integration
Hello there!
I would like to suggest adding support for a Yubikey (yubico), these FIDO2 authenticators are way better to protect user accounts than regular Google Auth. I believe that many people will appreciate this option to protect their accounts with Yubikeys.
I have seen there is a lot of feedback to adding this feature to the Discord, as a huge server owner of a verified server I would really appreciate it, as I want to secure my account as much as possible, google authenticator has some limitations and it's not best to use. Option to having multiple Yubikeys tied to the account (ex. Regular one you're using and backup/s) so you don't need to worry if you lost the key you're using usually.
Hopefully in the near future we can see this feature available, as this was proposed several times. Greetings!

+1 for Yubikey support and if it is implemented I hope we aren't forced to use TOTP as a backup
We should just be able to use a 2nd key as the backup

Second this! Hardware tokens are becoming more and more popular with Yubico pushing out their Yubikeys and more and more companies adopting them with the new FIDO2 and U2F protocols.

I heard it's being made now! I follow a Twitter account which showcases new stuff coming to Discord and there's a tweet about it. Our wish has been granted and this is a step forward to security and privacy on Discord. Apple, Google & Microsoft are working on Passkeys so it may take a while for them to be added to social platforms.

Where did you guys find the tweet? I found only one account for Discord and that's the official one, can anyone tell me the Twitter handle of the "showcase" account?
