Strengthen the security of the QR Code

Since the arrival of the QR Code system to connect to a desktop device, we notice that more and more people are having it for nitro scam servers.

 

Indeed, the latter make believe a huge number of users that by scanning the famous QR code which is previously generated by a fake bot which drives this scam, that they can win prizes such as nitros for a period of one year for example.

 

I think this QR Code security should be strengthened.

 

Personally, I tried to connect with the QR Code and it turns out that despite my 2FA being activated, it does not ask me: which I think should be mandatory even if we go through the QR code .

 

If ever there is no 2FA activated on the Discord account in question, a 4 or 6 digit code system should be copied on the mobile device to "confirm" the remote connection.

 

These are, in my opinion, the most obvious safeguards to put in place to limit a large number of account hacks.
