    Same thing has happened to me this week.

    I think it is kind of ironic, that my bank, my insurance, my university, Steam and every other company (at least another dozen), had a progress in place for this situation, but not Discord. Cynisism aside, I thought this was exactly why you deposit your phone number, so you have another option to identify yourself.
