LFG Channels are a channel type that give players in select servers a dedicated space to post and browse live game invites, so it's easier to find others to play with.
What this article covers:
What is an LFG Channel?
LFG Channels are a forum-style channel where players in eligible servers can post and browse live game invites for select supported games. Instead of sending invites directly to friends where they can get buried in chat, you can post your session to the channel so other players in the server can find and join it.
Each LFG Channel post includes its own thread, so players can chat and connect to voice together before joining.

LFG Channels are currently being tested with a limited group of servers and players.
- It's currently available in the official ARC Raiders server. Support for other games is coming soon.

How to Join an LFG Invite
You can join another player's posted invite directly from the LFG Channel.
1. Browse the LFG Channel to find a session you'd like to join.
2. Open the post and select Join.
Depending on the game, this either sends a request that the post creator accepts in-game, or joins you directly if the session is open to anyone.
Linking Your Discord Account
Linking your account connects your Discord account to your in-game account for a supported game.
Linking your account is optional, but it's the easiest way to show your squad's open spots and get others to join your game seamlessly. Once linked, your post shows a live invite embed so other players can join you directly from Discord. Without it, you can still create posts and join other players' games.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why don't I see the LFG Channel in my server?
A: This feature is part of a limited experiment and is only visible in select servers for supported games. If you don't see it, your server may not currently be part of the experiment.
Q: Can I request access to the LFG Channel experiment?
A: This experiment is currently limited to a small group of servers, and access can't be requested or manually granted at this time.
Q: Do I need to link my account to use the LFG Channel?
A: No, linking is optional. If you link your account, your post will show a live session card so other players can join you directly.
If you stay unlinked, you can still create posts and join other players' games, you just won't have that live session card.
Q: Why am I unable to accept a game invite?
A: This can happen if you're trying to join from a different platform than where the game is installed.
Make sure you're using the same platform where the game is installed (e.g. Steam, Epic, Xbox, and etc.) to create or join an LFG post.
Q: Why don't I see a live invite embed on my post?
A: A live invite embed only shows when all of the following are true: your account is linked, your game is running, and your privacy or activity-sharing settings are set to public on the platform you play on (e.g. Steam, Epic, Xbox, and etc.), and you've turned on activity sharing both in your Discord User Settings and for the official ARC Raiders server.
Make sure your account is linked and your game is already running before you create your post. The embed won't appear if you complete these steps afterward.
