Scrolling in high-traffic channels is broken on the PC client

When scrolling up in channels that frequently receive new messages, the client skips multiple hours into the past instead of just loading in more messages, which is extremely obnoxious and makes scrolling nigh unusable on PC.

  I think I've experienced this as well while scrolling up in Minecraft's official Discord server. The only remedy I've found is just following the latest messages but I agree this should be fixed.
