Option to turn off Enter button as post message shortcut

Please offer option to have enter button insert new line into comment instead of just submitting it. I'm used to how it works on the phone, I press return and I can type a second or third paragraph, instead of what looks like the Vietnam memorial. I keep trying to do this on my laptop by habit, and it keeps sending the comment instead of allowing me to format it correctly. There's an option to make the send button visible or invisible. Why not put a 'disable enter to post' switch right beneath?

    Just hold shift when you press enter. That will give you a new line.

    On default devices without a keyboard, I'm not sure, try buying a wired/connection keyboard and use Shift+Enter then.
