Feature Suggestion: 'Role' based posting

A group of 5 have 'moderator' roles, Abba posted at 8pm and then went to sleep, at 10pm the content of the message needs updating...Abba is sleeping so the only way is for another moderator to do another post. So what if you have a certain role as with example then you can edit the post itself? Like Abba won't post as Abba but of course Edit history should be logged. It will be like there's a 'Moderator' account but it's really just 5 people sharing a role.. This would need to be set with permissions etc...
