Improved Text Chat Feature: Bold, Italicize etc pop-up Stop Removing Space after word

I frequently double-click a word after typing a message, then I use the tiny pop-up icons to italicize or bold a word.

The problem with the formatting pop-up buttons is that when you double-click a word, the computer (using Windows PC) selects the text of the word and also the space right after the word. The strange consequence is that if you submit the message, this causes the space after the word to be removed, so the italicized/bolded word ends up with no space between it and the word after.

Here is an _example of _what happens. ←--underscore ends up after the space, since the space is part of the selection when double-clicking the word.

Becomes:

Here is an exampleof what happens. ←--space gets removed after italicized word

It would be very nice if Discord's italics/bold buttons would not remove spaces, or if they would detect the space and automatically re-position the asterisks and underscores to the position before the space.
