Improve the Block Function

The “x blocked messages” pop-up is obtrusive and unneeded. If I block someone in a server I'm in, it's because I want nothing to do with them specifically, and this only highlights their messages.

Additionally, pretty much every other site makes it so a blocked user can't see the messages/posts of the person who blocked them. On a site like Discord, this seems like a major oversight, especially if someone blocks another user for safety reasons.

I believe that blocking a user should hide their messages entirely, as well as hide your messages from them in the same manner. Otherwise it's not really a true block, more of an “ignore” feature.

  Online platforms rely heavily on the block feature to provide consumers control over how they manage their digital experiences. More transparency, more precise control, and unambiguous notification to users when they are barred or blocked someone else are possible areas for improvement. These enhancements would promote more polite and secure online interactions.
