Have Discord given up being a storefront?
RespondidaDiscord removed the store and games are sold on servers. Either I'm missing something or its still in early days because the only game server with a store (I can find) is Subnautica. Who was this decision made for and who asked for it?
Apparently for a server to be 'discoverable' it needs to be approved by Discord and there doesn't appear to be anysort of filter to find developer storefronts, you can't tell if a server is hosted by the developers or if it has a storefront by browsing.
Who does this help? Your game discoverablity is next to zero so its your responsibility to advertise your community and therefore your game, you have to host a server now (I'd think developers would have better things to do) and as stated you can't even find servers (on Discord itself!) unless they're approved.
Have Discord just given up trying to be a storefront?
I'm trying to understand why they buried the storefront but I can't. Were users complaining?

I only care because what was wrong with the storefront? If its not broken don't fix it!

Honestly this is kind of annoying, but it would be better if there was sections like Rpg multiplayer etc
