Voice chat beeping sound when talking while muted

teamspeak has this, whenever you are muted in voice chat and you press the push to talk button to talk, it makes a beeping sound (to let you know that you are muted currently)

  For one, this is a really good idea because i've had entire conversations with myself thinking my friend is listening

  How is this not implemented? Even an occasional beep when not talking would be good, that way wouldn't even need fancy code.
