Channel Bookmarks
New Feature- Ability to bookmark channels to quickly navigate to specific channels on different servers (or same server).
Some servers may be hosting many channels for different ongoing games or just have an abundance of rooms. It would be nice to be able to bookmark a channel to navigate directly to it rather than click to a different server and then scroll to find the channel.

100% agree, there are some "Guilds" I'm in for games, sometimes multiple for 1 game, and I have like 90% of the rooms muted because I'm only interested in specific spots. At least have a hide muted option and still show what I want to see.
I want Trade - PVE - LFG, not xxA -> xxO -> PVE -> xxZ, just want to see the ones I want to see.2 -
Yeah, if you have multiple youtuber servers (usually have a lot of channels each) as well as your own server, AND servers that your friends created. This could maybe be implemented in the "Quick Switcher" menu (Ctrl + K or Cmd + K on Mac) by having a special prefix (like the ones that already exist, "!", "*" etc.) for bookmarked channels.

Yes, this would be helpful in so many use cases, and an easy implementation AFAICT. You could create & curate a "channel folder" (pseudo-server) where you can drop chats in many formats. So, in my hypothetical primary folder, I could drop
- all the categories/channels of my personal discord server (just for me)
- some of my DMs with select friends
- some 3+ member DM rooms
- Specific category/ies or channel(s) from a different server
etc. At the end of the day, it comes down to a bunch of circular badge hyperlinks on the left opening a certain chatview on the right -- well within your wheelhouse, even if the data structure would be a little hairy. Or just let me do it, I like working in Electron & TypeScript! 💜

clarity Thank you for posting! It seems like the topic is a little overlooked. It would make tremendous difference for large severs. One I frequent has over 200 channels, it's so annoying to check for new messages in those that interest me. Notifications are all or nothing (if it's not a mention).

Is one of those things most folks don't know they're missing until they get it.
Would make a difference for large servers, as well as for users that access many servers, and frequently have to cycle thru the channels to find their frequently used channel.
If this isn't possible, an alternative would be the ability to hyperlink channels, so you can make your own favorites/bookmarks.2 -
Do it please. For the love of all that is good and wholesome. Stop the scrolling madness on servers that have 1000 channels to find the three channels for games I am in.

Please consider this. I like to access specific channels on large servers and can spend up to 5 minutes looking for the correct one.

Yes, muting 100's of channels is no fun man!

this could be usefull but also the adim mods also could have a work around with roles to hide channels you don't want to see.

Rats I was hoping this was already a feature but this is where my Google search brought me.
I tried to get around the problem by using the follow feature but that only works for channels that are marked as "Announcements." 🤔
