Send button for text in chat bar on desktop
There is no button (triangle/ right facing arrow) to send text in the chat bar on the desktop app.
It requires you to press the carriage return button on the keyboard.
This means that if you just want to send an emoji, which can be selected from the mouse alone, you have to then reach for the keyboard.
This can be annoying when trying to do other tasks or only have 1 hand available
The arrow should appear once test/emoji is inserted in the chat bar text field as per other desktop apps.

I agree with this suggestion but the reason you describe does not make sense. You can type emojis without the emoji button by pressing Windows Key + Semicolon and then you can use the arrow keys to select an emoji. However, some people want a send button because they use the computer in touchscreen mode. If this feature is added, there could also be a setting that turns of sending with Carriage Return (or Enter, whatever you call it). That makes it easier to send a message with multiple lines.

Yes you can use the semicolon to start selecting an emoji.
However, if you read my description again you'll see that my request is based on situations where you don't want to be using the keyboard. There are multiple occasions throughout the day where I would just want to be able to select the emoji with my mouse and then click send. Or right click & paste some info and click send, but there is no 'send' button/option for the mouse. You have to use the carriage return/enter key.
This seems very restricting / annoying at those times. Especially as it is a problem that has been fully resolved in every single other chat program/app on desktop that I use.
As for multiple lines, you can always used the shift+return combo to write multiple lines then click send
Thank you for having taken the time to share.

Bumping this. Another annoying thing with the text box is trying to send an image you uploaded and having to press enter (which doesn't always send but instead creates a new message line). A send message button is very much needed
