(Suggestion) Locally saved chat for when servers go down
Lately I have been using Discord for more than just chatting with friends. I recently set up my own personal server with just me in there and using that for taking notes, jotting down reminders, sending links and pictures to my phone and visa versa, as well as other various things.
It's a really handy tool, but Discord's servers are not quite as reliable as say... a certain other company that starts with a G and kinda rhymes with bugle. On top of that, I don't always have the best phone signal, especially deep within the concrete bowels of my local grocery store, and since Discord REQUIRES an internet connection, it can make checking my grocery list difficult.
I am aware that other services exist which allow you to keep lists and notes and stuff like that. I used to use Google Keep for all that but the way that Discord works (besides the aforementioned internet connectivity issue) is just 1000x better IMO.
SO to get to the point. Discord should add the ability to specify an amount of time that chat is saved locally. Could be anywhere from 5 minutes, to 24 hours, might not work in browser, which isn't a huge deal, since Discord can be installed on any platform. Another thing I just wanted to add in real quick is maybe if you send a message while servers are down, your phone or pc will just "hang on" to that message and either send it, or ask to send it, as soon as services come back according to your preferences
TL;DR Please add a feature that makes it so chat messages are saved locally for a specified amount of time, and messages sent with no server access sends as soon as servers go back online.

You are aware that Discord is hosted in Google Cloud, right?
