Option for controlled Anonymous posting
How this would work, is that when you are in a channel, you can toggle a button next to the emoji button on the right to post it anonymously, or something similar, which would send your message, but with the default Discord icon and name set to "Anonymous" but you can have different colored backgrounds for the icons to tell them apart.
This would be especially useful for something like support chats, where someone is seeking help, but don't want to seem attention-seeking, and things like it, and would be a great way to bypass judgement of other users for many different reasons too.
And of course, this could also be a fun new way to get messages across like the spoiler tag.
Furthermore, Mods can control the anonymity by changing a channel's settings to disable becoming anonymous so that people can not abuse this, and they can also bypass someone being anonymous from their end to see if it is the same person misbehaving. For example, you know there is a troublemaker in the server that turns themselves anonymous to bash another person, so then the mods can click the anonymous post and backtrack the IP address or something similar, and in turn also find which user it belongs to.
And to not ruin the whole mood for everyone, you can either have certain role permissions be able to be anonymous, and also suspend a user's anonymous privileges.

Coming back to this idea, a better execution for making an anonymous message would not to choose something near the emojis, but instead to make it a command similar to text to speech, where instead of /tts you could have /anon, which can in turn make it also easier to manage being categorized in the channel settings

This is a good idea for increasing equity in organizations with diverse groups of people, some of which experience a decreased power dynamic.

Hard agree. We need a way for our members to safely report abuse within the community outside of pms. A locked channel where users can posts but cannot see, and admin can then priavtely sort out decisions. It should be a full channel toggle though, not a user chosen toggle.

I agree with this feature recommendation. There is also a similar request here https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360052012593-Idea-Anonymous-Messages
