There should be a Compressor built into the Voice & Video settings.
The reason for asking this is that we all have that one friend that occassionally yells, thus destroying everyone's ear drums in a 12 mile radius. Or one friend who jiggles around in their chair a lot so they often become louder or quieter. Or perhaps your friend who used to have a really quiet mic suddenly joins in with a new, 10x louder mic and you had them originally set to 200% volume.
Sure, you could just... Adjust the volume slider and awkwardly pinpoint it, and then all your other friends, to match as close as you possibly can, but what if you're playing an intense game that requires all your attention? This isn't 2007 anymore, most games are online and can't be paused!
Are you just going to let your ears get brutally eviscerated as soon as your friend joins call and yells "my name is Jeff" over and over, or do you risk losing and disappointing your team to lower your friend's volume? And if you do that, what if your friend starts communicating normally? Now you'll need to raise the volume back up.
Well, you can say no more to that with Compressors, as you can fine tune everyone at once, so everyone's voices can set to your perfect volume, whether they are whispering in the corner of their room or screaming with their mic in their mouth, all AUTOMATICALLY... Except for setting it up of course.
Please, I don't want to go deaf before 30. Even if this won't be in the Voice & Video settings, it could at least be added in to Voice Channels, but V&V would be best in case for whatever reason people don't want a Compressor.
