Embeds not displaying correctly

For a little over 2 months now, both on mobile and PC (desktop app & web alike) what I assume should be embeds aren't displaying for me at all. The messages are invisible, but you can see the sender and reactions. Attached is a screenshot of the bug (taken on PC desktop app, yes I do use light mode)
