Feature Request - Discord Media/Embed Comments

Hello,

I would like to propose a feature for Discord. Media/Embed Comments.

Now I understand currently Discord has threads, however, threads can be clunky and take up a lot of space and I don't feel are appropriate for short-lived conversations.

Now imagine this, a user wants to create a Discord channel for only media/embeds, but not allow any text chat, while allowing users to interact and talk about said content without filling up the channel with tons of text only to bury the media/embed. Sure, a thread could be created for each piece of media, but this could create way too many threads and have a very clunky appearance on the channels list. 

Here's how media/embed comments could be a great feature. Instead of threads, a user could turn off text chat within the specified channel but allow "Comments" instead. Similar to how you have the thread icon next to each string of text, you could have a comment button, and users could create comments on each piece of media/embed that nest into a comment section. If comments are made, you could display a counter under the media such as [#] Comments [view all] and allow the user to click that to then open a sub-channel (comment section) for that specific media where users can discuss or talk about it. This will keep channels more clean and organized and allows Discord Owners/Moderators to have more control of their Discord.

Would love to hear your thoughts and see this implemented.
