What is Polls?
Polls is a feature on Discord with which you can create a poll to have your friends and community members vote on anything! You can add up to 10 answers for people to vote on in each poll. This can help decide the next game you’ll play together for game night, if pineapple belongs on pizza, and so much more!
How do I create a Poll?
A poll can have up to 10 answers listed.
Any text within a poll (including questions and answers), will apply filters set by AutoMod.
Desktop
1. Tap on the plus sign [] located in the text field of the text channel, text chat of a voice channel, or group message that you want to share the poll in.
2. Next, tap Poll to create a new poll.
3. You can input the following information for your poll:
- What the actual poll is about
- All possible selectable answers users can vote on (you can also select an emoji or custom emoji to represent each one too)
- How long the poll will available (1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 1 week)
- If those voting can select more than one answer
