What this article covers:
Feedback vs. Other Request Types — Which Option Should I Use?
Discord support requests (including feedback) are submitted through our Support Portal at dis.gd/contact.
When you arrive, you'll see a dropdown menu that asks: "What can we help you with?"
To submit feedback, select "Feedback" from the dropdown. This will load the Feedback Form, which is specifically designed to collect product suggestions, feature requests, and general thoughts about your Discord experience.
The Support Portal offers several request types to make sure your submission reaches the right team. Here's a breakdown:
| Purpose | Where to go | |
|---|---|---|
| Feedback Form | Share ideas, suggestions, and general thoughts about Discord | dis.gd/contact → select Feedback |
| Help & Support | Get help with account-related issues such as account verification, technical support, account deletion requests | dis.gd/contact → select Help & Support |
| Refunds, Cancellations & Payments | Resolve billing and payment issues such as refunds, payment questions, billing disputes | dis.gd/billing → select Refunds, Cancellations & Payments |
| Bug Reporting | Report technical issues with the app such as bugs affecting specific features, clients, or platforms | dis.gd/contact → select Bug Reporting |
How to Submit Feedback Through the Feedback Form
- Sign into your Discord Support Account.
- Navigate to the Discord Feedback Form at dis.gd/feedback.
- Select the category that best describes your feedback (e.g., Text Chat, Voice and Video, etc.).
- Fill in the feedback fields with as much detail as you'd like to share.
- Check the acknowledgment box confirming you understand this form is for feedback only and does not receive support replies.
- Select Submit.
Once your form has been submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know your feedback was received.
What Happens After You Submit Feedback?
Once you submit your feedback, it's forwarded to the appropriate internal team at Discord — such as Product, Engineering, or Design — for review.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- You will not receive a personal reply. Our Support team does not respond to submissions in the Feedback Form.
- We can't guarantee implementation. While all feedback is read and valued, we're unable to provide an ETA on when — or whether — a suggestion will be acted on.
- Your feedback matters. Even without a reply, your submission helps shape Discord's product decisions and roadmap.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I submit a bug report through the Feedback Form?
A: If you've found a bug, the best way to get it resolved is to submit a support ticket at dis.gd/contact so our team can investigate. You're welcome to share broader product feedback about the experience, but bug reports requiring investigation should go through Support.
Q: Will Discord reply to my feedback in the Feedback Form?
A: No. The Feedback Form is a one-way channel used to collect community input. While we cannot reply to individual submissions, we do review feedback internally and share it with the appropriate teams.
Q: What if I submitted a feedback request in the Support Form?
A: Our Support team will redirect you to the Feedback Form so we can properly track this feedback.
Q: I submitted a legal inquiry or formal request through this Feedback Form — what should I do?
A: The Feedback Form is not the appropriate channel for legal inquiries, notices, or demands, or regulatory complaints. Submissions to this form are not reviewed by Discord's legal team. Please refer to discord.com/terms or contact Discord through the appropriate legal channels.
Q: I submitted feedback but want to follow up or add more context. What should I do?
A: You're welcome to submit a new feedback entry to the Feedback Form at any time. Since we don't reply to individual submissions, there's no way to expand to an existing submission — but every entry is reviewed.
