Discord deleted account after 1 month of ghosting all my appeals which had my proofs attached

    Exactly. If I hadn't sent in the proofs by the time limit, this deletion would be justified. But no, I even sent in the proofs on the same day my account got disabled to make sure this is sorted out as soon as possible. But discord decided to ghost me for a month straight. I can't even say how much disappointed I am. You ask for my personal information to give my account back but I never get the account back and you get to keep the information? At this point, discord is the one scamming people. What are you doing staff?

    They have it very badly done. They have a complete trash report system that can be abused and then when you want to appeal they ignore you. They should make it so that when you ask for an appeal they at least stop the time to delete your account because that's how they delete accounts because they are too lazy to respond.

    Well I was told to wait and keep on waiting multiple times on my last posts by Chris and well, that got me here. I kept waiting, sent around 2 emails after 3 weeks of ghosting, no replies on them as well. Account deleted with no explanation whatsoever and when a staff did reach back on a month old email, they said the account doesn't exist anymore. Of course it won't exist anymore if you straight up ghost my appeals, my emails for a month. 
    As for your friend, I'd say 6 days is rookie numbers when expecting a reply from discord. I'd say wait atleast 2 weeks, possibly 3 weeks until you start to panic and reach out to discord. They probably won't even consider looking at that post since most people wait around 3 weeks for a single reply on email and even that is botted.     This is exactly what happened to me about last year. I sent everything they wanted. They never answered after a month. Maybe they haven't even answered yet..

    Hi, Discord only solves reports, and that's bruo, when I reported one person for cyberbullying, they answered right away so the Discord system is confusing

    They have a different support team for every other problem. Unfortunately, some is faster, and some is slower. I hope they optimize it all enough.

    Well not really. I know a couple people that have been trying to get in contact with discord because of cyberbullying and threat to life. Many of them haven't heard back from discord. Also if you mean they have different emails, like support@discordapp.com and then there's abuse@discordapp.com, they still don't reply back. Its just poor management at this point. I don't want to hear that the staff is human too and they need time and such. If you're such a big company and you have time to select out people to ban them, then you must have big enough team that can handle 1000+ appeals a day. And if that team is not fast enough, either get a new one or add more to it. I'm sure discord can pay for them. Why are the consumers the one suffering at the hands of the company and then asked to reveal personal information? I'll stand by my last stance, discord is the one scamming people in broad daylight.     I agree with you exactly. Discord have time to have fun there, they have time to deal with other tickets. And if they just don't have the money, then why don't they do it by suspending the account deletion and only reinstate it when they don't approve it. That way they have like a bill deleting machine. Someone is abusing the reporting system here by reporting things completely out of context and discord is taking it. So why doesn't discord take appeals as well but doesn't give a shit about those? He writes you back in a month that you don't have an account and you lose everything and whatnot now. You lose everything because of them because they are lazy to adjust their system to stop the process of deleting accounts. Trust and security is one of the biggest issues because I get so many requests daily. So if they would add that or take precautions, everything would be solved. Mainly, some places respond within a few hours and some places don't respond for a month and then they write that you no longer have an account and when you write that you want it back, that it's their fault that you lost it, they get back to you in a month.

    They disabled my account and refused to tell me the reason. To be exact their poorly written Clyde bot couldn't reply anything else but the same generic message that didn't say anything else other than "you have been banned for violating the ToS and or community guidelines" regardless of how many times I asked which exact rules have been broken. 17 emails, 17 exact replies and then after a month my account got deleted. Sending further emails they reply by saying my account never existed and wasn't banned, they used that word instead of disabled... bit inconsistent considering I never used the word banned in any of my emails send to them.
    Which just shows nobody reads your appeals, it's all send to a bot who automatically replies back with generic messages. Makes you wonder how are things even ran there.. Where are the employees?
    I have never seen such poor customer support in my life and I doubt anyone will be able to take this crown from Discord.
    If some bigger youtuber or twitch streamer called them out on this things might change but writing anything here is pointless, it's like screaming at a wall.. we might feel better pouring our issues here and finding others who are in the same shoes as us but in the long run there wont be any justice for us and honestly, nobody who didn't experience this will care in the slightest..

    Exactly, a couple of my friends also say it's crap but discord support is lousy. When a youtuber gets their account shut down they just tweet "@discord TALK" and they get their account turned on right away. Well we normal people here can pray for unblocking and we won't get

    Now I found out that my other friend got banned again for being underage. Last time he already had and got unbanned and now discord gave him a ban again. Can't they write down that someone already got unbanned for that?

    Thats even more sad. Banning the same user multiple times for the same age violation ToS, isn't that just dumb? He already got it back once but they still believed the reports. At this point I cant even. 
    Also I sent an email from a different account not associated with my discord account that got deleted, they replied in like 3 days. But all the 15+ emails I sent from a account that actually has an issue never got a reply. Keep up the good work discord.

    Exactly. They just can't write it down. I think if I report someone for underage and they get unbanned then I can report them again. And I don't understand their ticket ID system. Why do they have an ID system if they don't follow it at all? They'd better not have any. It is most embarrassing that they will respond to a ticket you requested rather than another one.

    The worst thing is that in my case, I just type the number < 16 in the chat and discord takes it as an age. You for example can have a bot and you put a search on music and then that select from 0-10. You type in 8 for example and all you need is for some person to come in, report that message and you're done with the account. Discord doesn't address context at all. I know people who are > 16 (in my case) can request unterm but there are some people who discord just writes off after deleting their account and sometimes it makes things very bad when you are suddenly dealing with something for example and suddenly it logs you out.

    Sadly I’ve sent many appeals, and they only respond saying the automated messages. I don’t think discord is gonna help me or my other 4 friends who were wrongly disabled.

    Well atleast you're getting responses. Thats somewhat of a progress. Also since you're account disabling has nothing to do with violation of age tos. Try sending an apology email to support@discordapp.com even if you haven't done anything. They notice those faster. (couldn't do it in my case since it was age related bs.) They should respond to an apology email in around 4 days or 5 days. Anyways, wish you good luck.

    It's really great to have your account back! I'm sorry that discord is somehow not addressing this situation and ignoring everything. If I'm not mistaken discord should be RECEIVE LOCATION! Not a place where the support system is abused and nothing is done about it. I know it has nothing to do with this article, but discord support is slowly getting worse than some small apps that don't even have support. I'll give you some examples; Occasionally, there are messages at my request that have no business being there. Sometimes my shoe answers, and sometimes a man. Occasionally what happens is that one person who is literally out of line answers and then another responds that he is apologizing for his colleague. Yes, they're human, but IS IT NORMAL? I would also like to write about the discord warning system and also the answers. I understand they have certain texts for certain questions but if I ask a general question and the support team answers something I haven't even asked and the ticket closes. Also something about a warning; my friend set up a ticket saying he wanted to report a person and got a warning for misuse of support. WHAT? I think it's quite silly. How about you? I think they're also bamboozling accounts at 67% wrongly. Also the support team is quite and ridiculous... I have nothing against them. Next I want to ask for news, they say I should write on the page but hopefully they ignore everything there. It would be very good if there was a design system for the news.

    Hello. We have another sad news. My friend pog fish got a term for allegedly trying to sell his account even though he has no payment method. Do you understand? I would be interested to know how they check this at all. Then there's the reason that he massreported to team Trust & Safety and there he actually sent so his whole account got 2 requests. Are they dumb there that they can't even check that? He already asked for an appeal so I hope he gets it... It's really starting to piss me off. For example, last time YouTuber CustomName got his account shut down for allegedly raiding, scamming and all he had to do was tweet something like DISCORD START TALKING and he had his account turned back on. For the other YouTuber RJain who also got his account shut down like that, he had to do some appeals + was a partner. I'm wondering if my friend will also have the appeal option or if they will just dump him.

    The same has happened to me! 

    My account was deleted today despite them never looking at my original proof, or letting me give them further proof, instead, they have been sending me loads of automated emails, and overall ghosting the situation.

    I got my account disabled for being underage 5 days ago when I was in a voice call with friends privately (while some of 'em are only chats in text) and we were talking about childhood stuff, I just have a small private jokes with friends that say “oh I did this when I am 11” and after an hour in the voice call I got logged out automatically and disabled from login)


    I've sent out my request first of all with my email, my current Discord ID (as well as the old one with numbers), and I thought they will respond to me like when I got my Nitro subscription stuck which only took few minutes to get back from them, however it didn't and I was feeling impatient and frustrated (I have servers on moderation as well as owning server for my business communities and supports as well.) so I have sent out few more requests with different images and official national documents(which I realized I shouldn't be after not noticing the T&S instead of the Youtube's guide) and yet, they never respond to any of the opened ticket till today.

    I have tried to contact with their support's twitter account out of idea and desperation to recover my account ASAP, expected at the end they will give out reasons to have no anyways to help as well as doing nothing to assist on communicating with their team as well. So I wrote post to call out their irresponsive and the official Discord notice my ticket is still open, DM'ed me on Twitter personally but yet doing 0 progress about the issue. And yes I have the same questions and helped to ask for them on this same issue and they just gave me the same excuses as well. It's been 5 days of getting ignored and it cost me hundreds and thousands for my personal business interactions and Discord just ignore all your personal losses.

    I want to make another account just to temporarily ease out my community but still a lot of management and information I stored on Discord personally just got poofed due to the disable, so I am still hoping to get their attention to verify my age and free up my account from the false accusation by their system. (hopium).

    Well I literally gave them a government issues ID for verification and im getting my ass ignored real bad. At first when i got disabled I sent them my school ID as proof and I got a reply( which i was rlly happy abt) stating that they dont accept school IDs for verification and so i sent them government ID and you wont belive it I can see that there is activity in my ticket from the “ Last Activity” thing but literally no reply on my ticket. So yea discord is great! :D
