not to mention how much more difficult it is to use the search tool. the damn thing is so buggy. it's horrendously slow compared to the old search, you cannot see past 1000 messages, you can't even search for things in different channels because as far as i know, you have to BE in a certain channel in order to search for a message from there, and once you're in that channel the search tool will return you results from THAT channel ONLY. which makes searching for stuff so much harder and more inconvenient. bc what if i don't know the channel someone said something in? instead of being given results from every channel in the server, i have to check EVERY DAMN CHANNEL INDIVIDUALLY. if discord wants to keep their horrendous update, they should at least fix their search tool

User Interface (UI) changes in mobile applications often evoke strong reactions from users. While updates are typically aimed at improving functionality and user experience, they can sometimes backfire, leading to frustration and criticism. This compilation gathers various feedback and criticisms regarding mobile UI changes, shedding light on the diverse perspectives and challenges faced by developers and users alike.

Lack of Familiarity: One common complaint regarding UI changes is the disruption of familiarity. Users become accustomed to a certain layout or design, and when it undergoes significant alterations, they may struggle to navigate the app efficiently. This can lead to a sense of disorientation and frustration, as users grapple with relearning how to use a previously familiar interface.

Decreased Usability: UI changes can inadvertently decrease the usability of an app. For example, alterations to menu structures or button placements may make it more difficult for users to access key features quickly. This can result in a poorer overall user experience, as individuals spend more time searching for functionalities that were previously easily accessible.

Overwhelming Complexity: In an attempt to modernize or innovate, developers sometimes introduce overly complex UI changes. While the intention may be to provide users with more options or features, the result can be a cluttered and confusing interface. Users may feel overwhelmed by the plethora of options, leading to decision paralysis and ultimately reducing the app's usability.
