Yeah, discord can't help with that.. They aren't the ones sending the messages or placing the phone verification pages on your accounts, those are done via bots iirc

The UAE country code seems to cause a problem. I suppose it is because of the providers banning the message. I think we have to contact them or try the other service provider and see if it works (though I think it won't).

After several attempts I tried with another phone number from a different phone and got the code in 15 minutes. It has got to do with the SIM provider.

Discord pls fix this issue Ive used relatives numbers and theyre not getting anything and I pressed the resend code button like 3 times after within an hour. Its only been about 7 hours since this originally happened because of "suspicious activity" which I say is bs but I've gotten a total of 660 pings already. Honestly this is tiring. Please work this issue out or try to make an alternative like if you have to resend the code then send it to the email associated with your account. I dont want to have to create a new account or just abandon Discord altogether if this isn't resolved.
And on another note, with this many people bringing attention to the same issue it should have been at least looked into more???? Just saying

Update: My account is open again now. I sent in multiple tickets (one I sent directly from my email) telling them about the issue and I also requested my personal data. Within 24 hours they opened my account back up saying I got logged out because of the "spam bot". So I suggest to everyone they do the same.0 -

I tried whatever I could, it seems the issue is that the phone number we are using is not able to receive messages because it might have been used sometime in the past or network carrier issue.
Solution : Use a number that you have never used before with Discord. Try friends/family members numbers. I tried 5 different numbers and received the verification sms on 5th number within 15 sec.Sorry if this might not resolve your issue, however this did work for me.

Apparently, I fixed mine. After series of contacts and help by discord, I did not received the solution. All they did respond was my number have already received 9 SMS from them. All this time I realized that if you're using your wifi or turning on your WiFi, you can't receive any SMS messages (perhaps in just my situation) so I opened discord, discord asks for code (im using wifi btw), turn off wifi, and received the code in just second, then turn on the wifi again (im just using wifi for my main internet connectivity). Then voila, I have accessed my acc again.
I think you should use the number that is connected to your account as the number you'll use to receive the code.
I hope y'all get to access your accounts and fix yours too.
