I tried verifying through the Discord android app and it worked, the message works then it sent me the Discord security code so I decided to put it on the phone verification luckily it works.

The same issue in discord, just after installing shareit app. I believe this app is not working properly.

same, they don't send the code, and I can't use discord 'cause they want me to verify phone number, but i can't verify it, 'cause they don't send me a code, I tried it a thousand times with different accounts even. I guess I can't use discord anymore, this is so weird and pointless

Why would turning off wifi or "checking with your sms carrier" fix the issue? Googles voip number ie voice call on A LANDLINE WORKS IMMEDIATLY.

Yeah for me too I don't understand when I put in my phone number it goes to the 6 diget code but I never get the notification for the code like plz fox this discord 😭😭😭

Discord absolutely DOES NOT need to access your phone number for any reason. The only reason they are doing it is because, like any other corporation that demands a phone number, they make more money grouping your info with a phone number when they sell it. This change is ridiculous and people should not stand for it.

Amen to that Ron. Discord should not need to acces my phone number just so they can sell it off to third party advertisers later.
