Same problem, idk why they cant fix it for 3 years, its unbelievable...
"No problems on our side" - sure, discord devs, sure. No problems but so much people who still can't get a code after years, while we are all can get all codes from other sources. Why? Magic, but no problems.

I am having this exact issue! I tried my own phone number, a perfectly fine mobile phone number, and got told it was "invalid", the same happened to the other phone numbers I tried. THEN, it stopped saying they were invalid, going straight to the code input screen. You would think it would be fixed, but no, instead it just refuses to send SMS messages.
Tried to make a new account, got slapped with the same "something's going on" screen, tried to input my number again, and got "invalid number"! This was after the first account's attempts. Which indicates that for SOME reason that earlier described change from "invalid" to just transitioning to the code screen as if it were working was localised to THAT account, and that account alone.
I am just going to be submitting support tickets and emails until this is solved, I have 5+ years, and almost 40 servers, on this account. This account is my life.1 -

The text never comes. What worked for me was clicking "log in" at the top right of this very page, on a computer, then going right to "forgot password" at the next screen without filling in any information. It allowed me to choose an email to send a verification link to, which then let me in. Hope it works for you all too

I have the same problem, I tried a different phone number but I can't get an SMS with a verification code I am sure you have something wrong because I am typing everything is correct we need help so don't ignore us please it is your problem I tried 4 phones I do not receive a message
