hideous UI and user experience. username change sucks. mobile change sucks.

Update after the username update: why did y'all do that. The discriminator number meant that everyone could have anything they wanted without having to scramble for one. It sucks. You can't even use capital letters in your username!! It's really sad honestly. New UI looks like highschool me designed it in Canva. Literally every UI update y'all do gets worse. Stop trying to do minimalism in your design. Also emojis in statuses are cut off, which is just lazy. I'm adding this after the newest mobile update. It's terrible. I understand that there are some small improvements but they are integrated poorly. Once again the minimalism modern designing is making ugly things. Also I really really dislike that the last message sent displays in your DM's. Sometimes I send sensitive things and I really don't want that visible by accident.

Agreed but this isn't minimalism, this is maximalism in a crappy disjointed way. The old UI was information dense, but simple and clean, easy to use and interpret with zero friction between mobile and desktop. Now it's not information dense and getting around feels like cookieclicker, way too much pointless movement to get anything done.
