Cancelled my Nitro because the UI update is unusable

Oh my god did a toddler design this? Did a dev’s cat step on the keyboard and accidentally submit a trashed first draft? Did someone suffer a stroke while designing this? This is the ugliest app I’ve ever seen. It’s unusable. It’s awful. Instead of improving bans and bugs and bots they changed the only things that made discord worthwhile. What’s the point of using it if everything looks this bad? The way they changed the text and emoji sizes make them literally unreadable to me. I’m not paying for features that I can’t even utilize anymore and I’m looking for a new messaging app as soon as possible. I’ll have a better experience taping crayon notes to feral pigeons and hoping they deliver them to someone

    I have done the same. Contacting support was met with the answer that the change is permanent. Since the developers don't seem to care about what the end user wants there's no reason for the users to keep supporting them. I encourage others to do the same.

    If they want fewer users and less money this should accomplish that pretty effectively.
