New layout is good, but the change to @ ing people is not

Okay, so I'm actually a fan of the new mobile layout they removed an excellent feature. It used to be as simple as talking on someone to get there name with an @ sign in front of it in your text bar; it was perfect. Now when you tap on them it just brings up their profile. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 1 TAP PING (I'm on a Pixel 4 if that matters)

  I think the new UI for me might get some getting used to but yes, I absolutely agree, 1 TAP PING MUST RETURN

  Edit: also I want that thing to return where 1 tap ping puts a space before the ping itself <3

  yes, the new android update really sucks, especially the pinging feature they removed! Get better discord 🖕🏻💔

  APPARENTLY 1 TAP PING STILL EXISTS

  But we have to click on their Nickname now instead of the Profile Pic. It's a bit of a change but the automatic space before it still doesn't exist <3
