ERROR "Something's Going on Here"

It has been over 24 hours I have been locked out of my Discord account with this problem. I, of course, created a ticket IMMEDIATELY. I get an immediate response that seems automated that does NOT answer my question or help in the slightest. Upon log-in, my account get's stuck on a screen that says, "Something's Going on Here. We've detected somthing out of the ordinary going on. To continue using Discord, WE WILL NEED YOU TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT." Okay... Sure... I click on the VERIFY BY PHONE link and punch in my phone number. Instead of receiving a verification code, my phone receives a text saying, "An existing Discord account is aready using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account." .... Yes, it is in fact connected to AN account... In fact, it is connected THIS account! This is the ONLY Discord account I use, so WHY am I NOT getting a code sent to MY PHONE!? WHY would Discord NOT have an EMAIL VERIFICATION OPTION!? WHY would they not have an option to figure out what supposed account this number is connected to, so I can remove the number from it? Even though I am pretty sure this number is connected to only this ONE ACCOUNT I am CURRENTLY trying to get into! WHY does NO ONE RESPOND to these TICKETS!? WTF!?

    After receiving the somethings going on here message I input my phone number get a code but then nowhere to put in the code now I’m locked out, I shouldn’t be ‘suspicious’ when all I do is ask what damn platform people play on

    well i am f*cked. i tried to make a new account but when I enter my email, it says that my email is still in my locked account. i don't even have a f**king phone!!! I JUST WANNA BE ON DISCORD!!! JUST ADD A GODDAMN EMAIL VERIFICATION DAMMIT!!!

    This thread has been up for a year. Several people have showed up expressing their frustration with this problem. Not to mention there are definitely a lot more out there suffering with this that didn't come here to post either.

    And despite all that, there has been 0 official word of any kind from anyone from the discord team/staff. Absolutely nothing. Basically, they don't care. They know this is awful and it's blocking a lot of normal people from using it but they don't care and probably never will. You mean nothing to them.

    This whole situation just serves to show their true colors. An evil company who couldn't care less about its user base. Have you ever considered why are they so adamant about having your phone number? Considering their true colors as they've been shown then it can't possibly be for a good reason.

    Yuribatista I agree I play roblox and you NEED discord to play it I lost dozens of roblox accounts but now it's my 3rd discord account god I'm giving up on roblox and discord I can't lose another account I'm deleting roblox and discord I need all the help I can get from you guys because of discord lack of everything I need your guys help I do have a phone and I am going through the same thing as Bruh god Is having a pc is awesome but on mobile you guys ate whining about nothing please guys help

    Hey I've found a solution to fix it. All you have to do is get another account to generate a verification code for your main account.

    Further elaboration:

    All you have to do is get another account to generate a verification code for your main account. 

    For example on a new account add a phone number.

    Upon adding a phone number a verification code gets sent to that phone number.

    Go back into your main account in incognito mode or on a different device and enter the verification code that was sent using the new account you just created.

    Since both accounts are trying to verify their accounts with the same number Discord will accept the account that enters the correct generated code first.

    Also if you don't have a phone number use an online SMS number from the UK or any other European country. Just be aware that since those phone numbers are public someone else might remove the phone number from your account and you're back to square one.

    Those people are just stupid, Discord won't ever fu cking fix or remove this bullshit, this is damaging beginners or alt accounts that want to return to their friends
