Pay Discord Nitro with Google Play / App Store Balance

So first of all, I know that there is already a Post with this theme but thats already a year old and there is still no solution to it. ( https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360029391591-Nitro-for-Mobile )
I bought a Gift Card for my Phone because I saw that Google Pay is an option to pay for Discord Nitro. It all ended up as a way to pay with your Creditcard connected to your Google Account so you actually cant pay with your Store Balance.
So pls make it possible.

Bruh i just wasted 50$ google pay.. im bout to gift a present to my friend and boost his server but this problem happened to me. I cant use google play balance to purchase discord nitro. Pls response and take action on this.

Yep! Many Android users spent their money on Google Play and then finding out they can't use it on Nitro.

I guess allowing more methods to buy Discord Nitro, will make more people to buy them. For example, if I can pay with Google Play balance, I would have bought Discord Nitro!

i want to be able to bill it to my telco. that way i can pay it along with my postpaid bill every month. please make this option too.

Yes this is what I need too. I think its not a problem for Discord to add such payment option and I can say if they added it I would be paying every month with my mobile funds to bill it along with my mobile billing..=

They just started rolling this out yesterday, so if you join the beta, you can actually do it!!! :D

so I updated and got the Google play billing, but how do I use it? after I updated it doesnt even let me buy nitro anymore like normal it says to manage my subscription on the website but on the website theres no Google play option. i just want to gift my friend some classic

Hi! the google play payment will be a thing now on discord if you go on "discord beta" they added a new payment method

Yes it is now possible. They just added google play billing in latest discord update.

Yeah, especially for us who are just high schoolers without credit cards, or a European. I legally can't have credit card or paypal yet, and I use android. I wish that they would add buying nitro with google pay credits. And I wish it wouldn't take you to a browser

You can buy Nitro and Nitro classic using Google Play balance as of a month ago!
