Spellcheck in Discord help page is not helpful. And spellcheck does not work properly.

This page indicates that Discord application will use selected system language spellcheck in Windows (Windows 10 here) https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000877191-Spellcheck-in-Discord

Because I'm forced to use regional time format of the selected language in Discord (Why???), I have to select UK English and the page points that if the system uses US English, spellcheck will use that instead. This does not work, reliably...

After installing and uninstalling several language packs I can make it sometimes work like that. Then after restart everything resets and the app starts to ignore system language again.

Editing Preferences in AppData\Roaming\discord does nothing, it ignores language values set there app/system reboot, doesn't matter.

After all these years and so much feedback about it, could we have finally the ability to select proper date format? Which is trivial to implement while it's highly confusing to look at switched around dates when you want spellcheck with the language you actually use. Especially when moderating a community.

    i restart discord quiet often to switch the spellchecker language because i speak both my native language and some more international language. this is sure a pain in the ass i hope they can do something to even select it manually ! though most of the time it's linked to channel where you can speak your native language and other where you can't. because it's English ._. like here... if we you could link that by text-channel or the whole discord server it would be easier to tell the spellchecker which langue to use ._.
