imagine a place... where the UI is good
this update is nonsense. the old UI was already compact and convenient to use and we were all used to it. discord said the old UI was just the “desktop app scaled down”, but i dont get why that is really a problem, why should the mobile app be completely different from the desktop app?
the way the pins dont show embeds also frustrates me extremely. in DMs theres also a bug where all the pinned messages show as if they were all sent by the person who im dming, even tho i sent and/or pinned those messages. this combined with no embeds makes it pretty much useless when you have multiple messages pinned that have embeds, because i cant tell what they are and i cant tell who sent them. im surely not gonna jump to each pin every time i wanna find out.
theres still the old menu with embeds which you get to when you click “Show all pinned messages” after you pin something. this menu is like the old pins list, except that there is for some reason no other way to get to it.
the UI overall is also slower and laggier. for some reason theres a delay when i switch between servers and dms tabs. and the darker colorscheme is nowhere near as pleasant on the eyes as the greyish one was.
please, revert or atleast add such an option.

The new UI is unintuitive and takes out some of my favorite features such as DM's and Servers easily visible in the server tab, and many others, as well as raises some accessibility concerns.
