Some users may already have Clips enabled by default if their system has high end hardware.
Having Clips enabled may impact your game performance if you have lower end hardware. If you experience any issues with your game, please try disabling Clips.
Before being able to create Clips, the feature first needs to be enabled.
1. To enable, tap on User Settings then head to Clips.
2. Under Clips you should see an option that says Enable Clips.
3. Toggle Enable Clips. Now you can create Clips while streaming!

Users may have Clips enabled by default if their system has either an Nvidia RTX 2000 series or greater, or a Radeon RX5700 series or greater.
How to Create Clips
When streaming, make sure you’re streaming through Application and not just your screen. This ensures that game audio is also captured.
There are two ways to create Clips while you’re streaming.
First, while streaming a game you can press on the keybinding that you set to clip (default is ALT+C). If you have Game Overlay turned on, you’ll even see a pop-up that shows a clip was created and you’ll hear a sound to confirm a clip has been created.
Second, you can tap on the Save Clip icon that is located next to the game title that you’re streaming.
If you want to clip a part of your stream, you must make sure to press the Clip keybind or the Save Clip icon immediately after the moment you want to clip. This will automatically save the most recent portion of your stream based on the Clip Length setting you have enabled.
How to Edit Clips
1. Tap the [+] icon to the left of the text box in a text channel of your choice.
2. Then, tap on Share a Clip.
3. Here, you’ll see all of the clips that you have taken. Each game title will be listed along with the clip title. To edit a clip, hover over the clip you want and tap on the Edit icon.
4. Here, you can hold and drag on the timeline located below to get exactly the moment you want to share. You can also enable or disable Game Audio and Voice Channel Audio.
5. To change the title, tap where the current title is and add in the new title!
6. Finally, select the check mark to save it to your computer or you can tap out of the Clips screen and it’ll automatically save any changes you made to that clip.
How to Share Clips
In the same place where you edited your Clip is where you can find the option to share the Clip to your friends!
1. Tap the [+] icon to the left of the text box in the text channel you’re wanting to share the clip at.
2. Then, tap on Share a Clip.
3. Here, you’ll see all of the clips that you have taken. Each game title will be listed along with the clip title. To share a clip, you can either hover over the clip and tap on Share or tap on Edit to edit the clip before sharing.
4. If you decide to tap on Share to share the clip without editing, then the clip will appear in your text box.
5. If you decide to edit the clip before sharing, you can make final edits in this window instead. Check out the steps in How to Edit Clips for more instructions on editing your saved clip.
6. Finally, select the check mark to save the changes or select Share Clip to send the clip.
How to Delete Clips
Once a clip has been fully deleted, it cannot be restored. Make sure you’re deleting the correct clip.
Sometimes you have a clip you don’t want to keep because you clipped it on accident, or for any other reason. Here is how to delete a clip:
1. Tap the [+] icon to the left of the text box.
2. Then, tap on Share a Clip.
3. Here you’ll see all of the clips that you have taken. To delete one, tap on the trashcan icon or open up the clip and tap on the trashcan icon there.
4. Then, you’ll see a prompt asking if you’re sure and want to delete the clip.
5. After tapping on Delete Clip, the clip will be removed from both Clips and your computer. If you decide you don’t want to delete the clip, tap on the x to close it out.
And that’s it! Now go share some funny and epic gaming moments with your friend.
