How do I subscribe to Nitro?

If you’re eligible for this Nitro offer, you can head over to the Nitro Tab.

Step 1: Go to the Nitro tab

On the desktop or browser app, press the Direct Messages button in the top left corner and then select the Nitro tab. Alternatively, you can navigate to your User Settings > Nitro.

Step 2: Subscribe to Nitro Monthly or Yearly

Once you are on the Nitro page, you’ll see the offer promotion banner. Press Claim Now.

Step 3: Start Your Nitro Subscription

You’ll be asked to select either a monthly or yearly plan for Nitro.

Then, on the next screen, enter your credit card information and other payment details.

Step 4: Receive Your 10,000 Orbs

Upon successful completion of sign up, the orbs will automatically be added to your orb wallet in the Shop tab and you can now purchase Shop and Orb-exclusive items!

A notification to let you know that the 10k orbs offer was added to your wallet in Shop after subscribing to Nitro for the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why don't I see this offer in my Discord app?

A: If you don't see any promotion details on your Nitro tab across the desktop, browser, or mobile apps, it is because you do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Q: Why do I see a temporary hold/charge on my account?

A: There will be a temporary hold placed on the payment method upon activating the promotion. This is to help Discord confirm that the submitted payment method is valid. This charge will appear in your Discord transaction history, and it may appear as a hold on your payment method.

After you subscribe, we reverse the temporary hold to return the funds, and you’ll see that reflected in your Discord transaction history. Your bank may take longer to remove the hold from your payment method.

Note: Banks will usually remove the temporary hold from your account within a few business days.
