I know you can prune any member bar the server owner, with sufficient permissions, as long as you ensure you derole those members to the @everyone role.
- Add more selection options; allow the selection of pruning members of roles other than or instead of @everyone.
- Add more prune inactivity options
More Selection Options
At the moment we can only prune the @everyone role. I'd like to be able to select any of my server's roles to be eligible for mass pruning. We should be able to either make a selection of chosen roles or at least be able to select one role at a time for eligibility. From there, the process is as normal.
Note: I suggest that we are allowed to prune any member that has at least one of the roles in the selection. Having multiple roles only aids access to restricted areas, it shouldn't protect members from pruning. I realise this means you might end up kicking people you'd rather not, but you can always give them a separate role that doesn't include any role you might kick. That's kind of on how you organise your servers.
More Prune Activity Options
I'd like to be able to prune within more time-frames. I'm currently reliant on a statistic bot for checking user activity on my server over the last two weeks (it doesn't give specifics, it only gives a readout of how many messages were sent, where they were mostly sent, and how many minutes are spent and in mostly what channel).
I'd like to see at least an option for pruning for lack of activity in two weeks added, but I understand others may want even more options. A month is too long for my liking, seven days is a bit rash and early for handling a gaming community (people have lives), and an hour seems more or less pointless unelss you want a one-man server.
You could add more options for every week;
- 1 Hour (if you really must),
- 24 Hours,
- 1 Week,
- 2 Weeks,
- 3 Weeks,
- 4 Weeks,
- 1 Month,
- 2 Months.
This is just an example. From at least my perspective, this request seems indeed achievable without much time taken to implement it. It would make mass server management a lot easier in this respect.
