Profile Frames are decorative borders that wrap around your Discord profile. They're a new way to add personality and style to your profile across Discord or per-server.
Profile Frames are available in the Discord Shop alongside other collectibles like Avatar Decorations, Nameplates, and Profile Effects.
How Can I Purchase A Profile Frame?
Desktop/Browser
You can browse and purchase Profile Frames directly in the Shop.

1. Navigate to your Direct Messages list by selecting the Discord app icon in the upper-left corner.

2. Then, press the Shop tab [] to the right of the server list to enter the Shop!

Accessing the Shop via User Settings
1. To access your User Settings, select the cogwheel icon [] in the lower-left corner of the app, then navigate to the Edit Profiles section.

2. Once there, you will see the banner to the Shop where you can select Go to Shop. You can also select Change Frame and select the Shop icon [] to be redirected to the Shop.

3. Once directed to the Shop, you can preview and buy Profile Frames to add to your collection.
Mobile
To enter the Shop on mobile, tap your avatar icon in the bottom-right corner, then tap the Shop icon [] to view Profile Frames.

How do I apply or change my Profile Frame?
Desktop/Browser
1. On the desktop app or browser, head into your User Settings by selecting the cogwheel [].

2. Once directed to your User Settings, select Edit Profiles to view your profile customization options.
3. Then, press the Change Frames button to open the selection menu.

4. Once you have chosen the Profile Frame you would like, select Apply.

5. After applying your selected Profile Frame, confirm your profile changes by selecting Save Changes.

Mobile
1. On mobile, tap your avatar icon in the bottom-right corner, then tap Edit Profile.

2. In the Profile settings, scroll down to Profile Frame and tap the field to open the Change Profile Frame selection menu.
3. Choose a Profile Frame and tap Apply.
4. After applying your selected Profile Frame, tap Save in the upper-right corner to confirm your changes.

Where do Profile Frames appear?
Profile Frames appear on your full profile, including your profile pop-out, the full profile card, and your profile as seen by others across Discord.

Profile Frames are built to look great across different platforms and profile layouts, but you may notice that a Frame looks slightly different depending on where it's being viewed. This is intentional—some Frames may look different depending on whether you're viewing them on desktop, mobile, or in different profile layouts.
Some Frames also include additional decorative elements that appear based on the size of your profile, meaning adding more to your profile (like bio text or widgets) can unlock more of a Frame's full design. The best way to see a Frame's full design is in the Shop preview before you buy.

A: Make sure your Discord app is updated to the latest version. If you can’t see it, go to your User Settings > Edit Profile to confirm the Profile Frame is selected. And if you still don’t see it, restart your app.
