Delete all message history within dms & servers of deleted accounts.
There is no reason for a "deleted account" to be still accessed/previewed. I recently deleted my old account because I needed to get away from past drama and start over.
I am still in contact with one person though that still has my old account's DMs open, and they can still actively view everything I've sent. Going back in some servers I used to talk in I can see my old messages even though my account is "deleted".
Please remove everything attached to deleted accounts in its entirety. There's no point in keeping it if nobody has access to it (unless there's something not being mentioned when deleting your account?).
This is an issue that has been complained about for years and there hasn't been any response to any of the feedback given.

Sorry for all the quotes when I say deleted. From my understanding when you delete something it is gone forever and cannot be retrieved (of course when it comes to the internet it is not fully gone but for anyone who isn't digging up dinosaur bones it basically is). All discord does when "deleting" your account is removing your ability to log into the account not actually deleting it.

People have been begging for this feature for years. I’ve been on discord since I was 14, and while the worst of my teenage angst is lost to deleted servers (I know discord keeps a copy of this data, and I’m fine with that as long as it’s not leaked) there’s still a lot of stuff from those years that remains. I’m going into an industry where my career will be very public, and I don’t want dumb stuff I said when I was a kid to dictate how my life will go. While I never gave my real name, I posted pictures of myself and mentioned my location. With how facial recognition technology is developing, I feel extremely unsafe. I’m an adult now, and I just want my little teenage self to be forgotten.
