I want to verify my account with phone number but I don't receive the message

I want to verify my account, I put my phone number, and says who I have to put a verification code who is on the message, but I DIDN'T RECEIVE IT. HELP

    Guys if you have ever blocked a SMS number.. check in your cellphone's "spam" folder.

    I found out i was receiving the code, but because i had blocked some phone numbers from sending me text (ie: advertising) the phone wasnt showing the notification.

    Also: If you open a ticket you'll be amazed at how good Discord's Customer Service is through email. Talk to them.. they can help you faster than you think.

    I am so so disappointed with discord team, they don't even care about us.. I emailed them about my main id which I m. Unable to recover as my backup. Codes expired.. Now I lost my phone number of alt I'd altho I still has access in laptop.. I mailed them but no response.. I m utterly frustrated

    discord is broken, someone should sue discord for making such an horrible verification method, everyone here haves the same problem, but not one single solution, whenever we do anything, these stupid robo-hamsters think we are hacking our own account or idk, i thought these stuff only happened to me and a small amount of people, but now seeing that it happens to a lot of other people, i am extremely disappointed with discord's service, it is simply the worser i've ever seen, extremely disappointing, discord has potentital, but it is not executed well, it is made horribly, i am sorry, but it is true.

    same problem from years and now its the same thing i did 000-000-0000 and normal way and still no updates / msgs from dayss i hope @discord can msg us and help us out @discordapp please do help us and fix thing it doesnt let us join the coummuity we need it ASAP

    So for anyone who reads this thread, I BELIEVE I FOUND THE SOLUTION!

    So I see everyone having the same issue that I did, and I went to this thread and saw the deluge of non-responses, so I hope this helps you all.  I only just stumbled upon it because I was thinking "huh, wonder if you have to have you account associated with your phone number in the first place just to be able to verify it... and lo-and-behold, as soon as I associated my account with my number, the verification codes that I had asked for rolled in all at once.

     

    So go to your profile page on your phone using the discord app (the little bust of yourself int he lower corner). Tap on account.  Tap on phone  and then enter it in the field... ta da!

    It has been a week since i typed my number for the discord code, and I am still waiting for it

    I had two accounts, one was deactivated and the other one deactivated today, but the verification code still wont arrive, and idk what to do, like, I tried everything that people said about it and guess what, it didnt work

    This worked for me use a QR code scanner (I used Google authenticator). It gives you the 6 digit code, then enable sms verification.
