If you find your Discord account disabled or banned and believe it was done in error, you can submit an account appeal to request a review of your case. Discord's account appeal process is designed to give users a chance to explain their situation and potentially have their accounts reinstated. Here's a detailed explanation of how the process typically works after submitting an appeal:
Step 1: Await Response: After you've submitted the account appeal form, you'll have to wait for Discord's support team to review your case. Response times may vary depending on the volume of appeals they receive, but it's essential to be patient. Avoid submitting multiple appeals, as it can slow down the process and may even harm your chances of a successful resolution.
Step 2: Discord Support Team Review: The Discord support team will assess your appeal and investigate your account's history and the reason for the ban. They may also consider your previous interactions and reports, as well as any relevant evidence you provided in the appeal form.
Step 3: Decision and Communication: After their review, Discord's support team will reach a decision on your appeal. If they find that the ban was unwarranted, they will reinstate your account. However, if they determine the ban was justified, your account will remain disabled, and there may be no further appeal options available.
Step 4: Acceptance or Further Action: If your account appeal is successful, you'll receive a notification or email confirming your account's reinstatement. You'll then be able to log back into Discord using your account as usual. I just got disabled for violating the TOS for racism and all that. It started when someone random joined our GC and started posting german propganda from ww2 and very discriminating videos. Will discord reaf my appeal though? Causd i got some events soon that were happening on discord

My Account Got, Disabled and I want it to to be enabled again. I already appealed, so i hope that they can give me second chance. Since, idk who reported me or whatsover. If I did know I would stop doing it and change eventually. I have lots of servers to manage in my account so people would be anxious what happened to me if it became deleted user like other people. I really hope it get uplifted, so I can continue working on my servers and serving people in my community.

day 11 of my appeal and just recently my ticket status changed from “open” to “solved” but I didn't receive any email nor can I log in back to my disabled account. The only reply I got was from Clyde which states that I violated the ToS. Although I'm 100% sure that I did not break any rules whatsoever and I strictly followed the Community Guidelines. I replied to my ticket to reopen it.

Is their a way to know, what did you violate or whoever report you. Because, it sucks that we can't know if we violate something or we get reported. Like no warning beforehand…

I am pretty much having the same problem no one replies to my tickets, Idk what to do,its been 2 weeks,I tried 3 appealing tickets and they always mark it as solved, I tried using the General Questions tab so much but the information they tell me is 90% of the time just useless info, and I am certain I have not done anyting Bad, what can I do at this point? I am very desperate

I'm not sure if they even check this thread anymore but recently a bunch of people from my university and I got their accounts disabled for “malicious hacking, etc” after using discord on a set of school-owned computers. I am sure none of us have engaged in those kinds of activities. So far, none of us have recieved any human response from appeal requests. Any other accounts we use/create are also automatically disabled as well. Many of us rely on discord for general communications and this has been pretty frustrating.

Given the situation you have provided, the only thing I can assume is happening is that your university has monitored the activity on those computers, and contacted Discord via support form explaining the situation to them, requesting the accounts to be disabled. Also, if you did not log out of the accounts on the computer, someone else could have potentially used your accounts maliciously.

Thanks for the quick reply! So to further clarify, these computers are all part of one of the campus' gaming lounge and which I believe all run through the same router. The computers here automatically logs users out of all applications after a session and I know for certain that I did log out of my computer that day. Our IT team is of the issue and has advised us to avoid using discord on these computers for the moment as this is still happening to new users. We are currently unable to use discord at all on any personal devices are they are “flagged for being suspicious.”
This has affected a great number of people in our community, which can also be seen in many of the recent posts in r/UBreddit. Is there anything we can do to have our accounts reinstated? I have read that support tickets can take up to months and by that time the accounts are already deleted.

Thank you for the insights and further clarification! Using the information you provided, I can confidently help you further understand what has occurred, along with a possible solution.
Due to the large amount of accounts created all on the same modem (assuming multiple users made accounts on these university computers), Discord likely marked your universities IP Address as malicious, then proceeded to disable all accounts created on this IP Address. The reasoning for this is because they may have mistakenly marked all of your accounts as spam, including your friends' that also created accounts.
Potential method to resolve the situation:
The only method I can really come up with in this situation would have one of your universities administration members contact the Appeals department, explaining what happened, and how your IP Address was falsely marked as malicious. However, please make sure that the email being used to contact the appeals team is a school email that can be verified as administration.

I'm sorry to hear about the situation you're in, hopefully I can help clear up any confusion. Unfortunately the agents inside of the Help & Support department cannot assist you with appeals, however they could give you some tips for appealing a falsely disabled account. Assuming your account has already been fully deleted as it has surpassed 31 days since you shared your story, I will explain how to avoid this situation in the future.
Many people have claimed the appeals team to be unreliable, which I can empathize with, and understand where they are coming from. The appeals team receives the most traffic out of any of the departments, meaning they have a lot of tickets to get through and could potentially mark certain tickets as spam and disregard them even if they are legit tickets. When you create a ticket and it is marked as solved without receiving a reply, that means it was marked as spam.
If you received a reply from Clyde in your ticket stating that your account will not be reinstated, unfortunately you will be unable to have your account enabled again.
The reason I say this is because believe it or not, receiving a reply from Clyde means a real agent has reviewed your appeal, and did not respond directly. The reason for this is because it saves them time, and they can further help other users with their appeals, and reinstate accounts that truly were disabled falsely.
Unfortunately, the Discord Privacy Policies are extremely strict, meaning any slight violation could result in the loss of your account. However, recently the Trust & Safety department has received many updates, and accounts will begin to receive warnings (depending on the severity of the violation) more often rather than being disabled!
Hopefully I was able to clear up any confusion you may have had regarding your disabled account, and I hope you don't run into this issue again.

Yes you can create a new account using the same email and phone number if it has been longer than 31 days since your account was disabled. It will remain this way for every account.

when Discord disabled my account, it didn't specify which rules / ToS that I break (for example, bot spamming, being underage, etc). It only says “Your Discord account is disabled”. Do you know what this means? Also, can I use my old username from my banned account and is it safe?1 -

now as a personal account, id just make a new one, but this is also where i run my full time art commission business and i cannot afforded to loose all the clients i have contacts with and the clients that have paid me and are waiting for me to send them what they paid for…
i was disabled the 2nd this month and desperately trying to make sure my business doesn't go under so i can keep paying bills…
is there anything else i can do? should i send another appeal? is there anything i can do to get futher support from discord?

Hello,
Recently my account was disabled likely due to being in a server that was banned due to breach of ToS. I wasn’t active in that server and only joined per the request of a friend, unfortunately my attempts at appeal have been met with stoney silence and I’m afraid that I will not be able to get my account back as it is an account I’ve had for several years.
All I received was an email back from a “Maggie” stating my account would not be reinstated without any elaboration as to why. I really need this account back as I worry I will not be able to reach some friends of mine without it.I can only really guess as to why my account was disabled as the email detailing the disablement was vague and unhelpful, only giving a list of “ors” and not a definitive whiz if there is any way to get my account back that would be most helpful as, again, I really cannot stress enough how much I need that account back and I will swear to be more vigilant in the future with what communities I become involved in. Please, any help would be much appreciated and I would hate for the 31 day mark to be crossed without a proper response from Discord.

My account got disabled on November 4th and I did make an appeal on that day. I have explained everything and provided all the necessary information in the support ticket. It's been a week there's no response at all. The ticket isn't even assigned to any staff. Now only 1 week is left after that my account will be deleted permanently and I won't be able to get it back. I have been reading these posts about how Discord support never responded and they lost their account. I'm really concerned about my account especially when I never intended to violate ToS and have a clean history of account (no violations before). More or less I'm disappointed.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue and how you came across it. I empathize with you here, as I too believe accounts should not be disabled simply for being inside of a server that violates the policies. However, if you joined this server and were aware that it violated the policies, it would make sense for action to be taken.
The appeals team can be very vague at times and if you receive an email stating that your account will not be reinstated it is likely that you will unfortunately have to create a new account.

I am actually gonna call discord officials, because i have only 10 days left to get my unban after i was targeted by some people that ive banned before its just really wrong that i got banned because i fairly banned another person for sending my face pictures.

So I panicked and contacted paypal to resolve a fraudulent payment made by a third party I resolved within the hour it happened. It led to my main account disabled and any tickets I file on the matter are marked as solved without my knowing.

My discord account was disabled today 24 Jan 2024 , I was just using it and stepped outside to get something out of my car. Come back inside and saw that my account was logged out, tried to log into Discord again, but I was locked out of my account, saying "Your account has been disabled". I submitted a help ticket but have no recieved any email telling me why I was disabled.
