What are Discord Quests?
Quests are a way for players to discover games and new content while earning rewards for playing, streaming, or watching videos on Discord.
Each Quest has a specific timeframe for acceptance and completion. Rewards are subject to specific terms. You can find the promotion terms for each Quest on the Quest Home page or after accepting the Quest.

For Discord-specific rewards (such as avatar decorations), the reward will be automatically added to your Discord account once you claim it.
Controlling the Quest Promotions You See
We've built controls into the Quest experience to help you manage the types of Quests you see:
Hide an In-app Promotion of an Individual Quest
If you want to hide an in-app promotion for a specific Quest or game you’re not interested in, press the ellipsis [] on the Quest in-app promotion to access the menu and then select Hide This to hide this particular in-app promotion.
Once you've done this, you'll no longer receive notifications about this Quest in that particular in-app promotion style.
If you encounter a different in-app promotion for that same Quest (for example, you may also see the Quest in the Active Now section of the Discord app) you can hide those by following the steps mentioned above.
“Hide This” Option in Quest In-App Promotion
Opt-out of personalized promotion for all Quests
If you do not want to receive personalized promotions for any Quests based on your activity or data you share with Discord, you can disable your In-game rewards (aka Quests) settings within your Privacy & Safety settings.
1. Press the cogwheel [] in the bottom left corner of your Discord desktop/browser app to navigate to your User Settings.
2. Then select the Privacy & Safety tab in the left hand panel and scroll down to the How We Use Your Data section.
3. Disable the In-game rewards (aka Quests) setting by selecting the toggle. You can learn more about how data is used for in-game rewards here.
