What is the Members page?
The Members page provides moderators and admins with a dashboard view of new and existing server members within your server.
From this page, you can see the following information regarding your server members:
- When they joined the server
- The age of their Discord account
- The invite link they used to join
- Their current server roles
- Flags that will appear for users who have engaged in unusual DM activity or have been timed out
How does the Members page work?
To utilize the Members page, you will need to be the owner of that server or a server admin. If you meet either requirements, then you can head into the server of your choice and select the Members tab in the server’s channel list. This will redirect you to the page where you can view all server members.
Note: The Members page is currently in Beta and only available on browser desktop.
Managing Server Members
While navigating through the Members page, there are useful tools you can use to manage your server members.
Adding Roles
To add roles to a specific server member, hover over the Roles category and press the [+] button.
Then, select the specific role you would like to add by checking off the box associated with that role.
Reviewing Flags
If you would like to review any unusual DM activity or server members who have been timed out, select the Flags category.
This will open the menu where you will be able to choose the specific flags you would like to view by checking off the box. Once you have selected your choice, you will be able to review the list of server members who have the selected flags:
- Unusual DM Activity: Shows when members send a large number of new DMs to server members who aren't friends in the last 24 hours.
- Timed Out: Shows members who are actively in timeout and not able to participate in voice, stage, or text channels. Learn more about Time Out.
Searching, Pruning, and Much More
While in the Members page, you can easily search for specific members, prune your server, and perform other member management tasks.
If you would search for a specific member, head into the Members search box and type the username or display name. You can also select the server member to view their profile and view other server management tools by selecting the member’s vertical ellipsis.
Additionally, you can press the vertical ellipsis button next to the Members search box where you can find the Prune Members option.
Note: You will need server-wide permissions enabled to manage, timeout, or perform other actions within the Members page.
