Email is Already Registered

If you receive the error message Email is already registered when trying to change the email address on your account, this is because the email address you are entering is already tied to a Discord account. Please try another email address.

Email Does Not Exist

If you are trying to log into your Discord account, but you’re getting the error message Email does not exist, this is because the email address you are entering is not tied to a Discord account. If you’re unsure what email address your account is tied to, please check out the Forgot Email section. Our Support team is not able to tell you what account your email address is tied to.

Changing Email Too Fast

If you are trying to verify or change your email address, but you’re getting the error You are changing your e-mail too fast. Try again later, please wait 24 hours and then try verifying or changing again.

Forgot Email

If you can’t remember the email address that is associated with your Discord account, there are a few steps that you can try to find this out. 

1. Check if you're logged into the Discord account on another device/browser. You can then see what your email address is by accessing the My Account tab via User Settings.

2. At the login page, type in the email address that you think might be associated with your Discord account and then press on Forgot your Password. If that email address is tied to an account, you should receive an email to reset your password.

3. Check the inboxes of all your email addresses and search for emails from Discord.

4. If your account also has a phone number tied to it, you can try logging in using the phone number through the login page instead. Once logged in, you can check the My Account tab under User Settings to see what email address is on the account.

Lost Access to Email

Unfortunately, if you’ve lost access to the email address that is tied to your Discord account, you’ll need to be able to access it to be able to change the email address. You can try reaching out to your email provider to see if you’re able to obtain temporary access to your account.
