Country/Region is a setting on your Discord account that sets your account to a specific location. It determines:
- The prices and currencies you see in app
- Which payment methods you can add and use

How is Country/Region Determined
Your Country/Region is set the first time you complete a purchase on Discord. Once set, it can only be changed once every 90 days.
- Your Country/Region is determined automatically based on your location and any saved payment methods.
- Your Country/Region and billing address country must always match to make purchases.
- On mobile, your region is determined by your device system settings and the app store.
How to Change Your Country/Region
You can update your Country/Region on your own once every 90 days. To do so, you must:
1. Be located in the new country
2. Add a valid payment method from that country
3. Complete a successful purchase with that payment method
Keep in mind you can only add payment methods that match your Country/Region. If you have a saved method from a different country, it may not work for new purchases once your Country/Region is set.

A: Your existing subscriptions won't be immediately affected, and they'll keep charging to your original payment method. If that method fails, you'll need to update your payment method and may be asked to acknowledge any pricing differences for your new Country/Region.

A: This is most likely to happen if you haven't made a purchase on Discord before. On desktop, if your payment method's billing address doesn't match your current location, you'll need to wait until you're back home to complete a purchase. Otherwise, you can try making a purchase through the mobile app.
Q: What if I need to update my Country/Region before 90 days?
