Welcome to the Shop
From avatar decorations to profile effects, our Shop has a variety of items you can buy and collect to customize your profile! Items purchased from the Shop are yours to keep and apply whenever you want. Now you can add your favorite styles to your profile for any occasion!
What will I find in the Shop?
Once you enter the Shop, you will be able to preview and purchase available avatar decorations and profile effects! Nitro members can also claim any Nitro exclusive items while in the Shop!
Selections available for purchase in the Shop will change periodically and may be available for a limited time. However, any purchased items are yours to keep and can be used at any time.

How do I find the Shop?
At this time, you can only access the Shop on the desktop app or your browser.
Head over to the Shop to start collecting avatar decorations and profile effects!
1. Navigate to your Direct Messages list by selecting the Discord app icon in the upper left corner.
2. Then, press the Shop tab to enter the Shop!
1. Navigate to your User Settings > Profiles.
2. Once there, you will see the banner to the Shop where you can select Check it Out. You can also select Change Effect or Change Decoration and press the Shop icon.
3. Once directed to the Shop, you can preview and buy avatar decorations and profile effects to add to your collection!
Gifting from the Shop
Along with collecting items for yourself, you can also gift items from the Shop to your friends!
1. Select the item you would like to send and press the gift icon located to the right of the Buy Decoration button. You can also select the gift icon within the main Shop page to send a gift.
2. Then, the Send a gift window will appear. While here, you will be able to select a card design and customize the gift by adding a personal note, a soundboard effect, and an emoji confetti.
3. Once you have chosen who you would like to send the gift to and have added your personal touches, press Next to proceed.
Note: If your Discord account does not have a previously saved payment method, you will need to add your payment method details before proceeding.
And that’s it! You should see a confirmation that your gift was sent.
Any purchased gifts that haven’t been sent and claimed can be found in your Discord Gift Inventory, which you can find by going to User Settings > Gift Inventory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who can currently access the Shop and buy and use profile effects?
A: The Shop is available to all Discord users. If you are also a Nitro member, you will have special member pricing on all purchases within the Shop!
Q: How do I get a discount on items in the Shop?
A: Only Nitro members have access to special member pricing in the Shop. You can find more information about Nitro here.
Q: What is your refund policy for Shop purchases?
A: You can find our full refund policy, including Shop purchases and Nitro subscriptions, here.
Q: I purchased a gift for a friend, but it wasn’t sent to them! Where can I find this missing gift?
A: If you bought a gift from the Shop but it was not sent to your friend, you can go to User Settings > Gift Inventory where you’ll find any purchased but unsent gifts. You can resend those gifts from the Gift Inventory!
Q: What happens to my purchased items if my account is deleted?
A: Your use of Discord is subject to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and access to any items purchased on Discord may be lost in the case of temporary or permanent account suspension or self-requested deletion. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
Q: What if my friend sends me a gift from the Shop, but I already have the item in my collection?
A: Don’t worry, your friend will not be able to send an item that has already been claimed and added to your collection.
However, if a gifted item has not been claimed and added to your collection, it is possible that you may receive the same gifted item again. If this is the case, you can choose to claim one of the gifts. Then, the other gifts with the same item will be returned to the sender within 48 hours, and they can choose to send the gift to someone else.
