- Look for "DISCORD*" or "PAYPAL DISCORD" on your bank statement—these are the official Discord payment descriptors
- Check if a family member or friend made the purchase
- Verify if it's a pending charge that hasn't been fully processed
- Check if the charge appears in any of your other Discord accounts
- Confirm whether the charge is from an automatic subscription renewal or trial period

How to Report an Unauthorized Charge
When reporting an unauthorized charge, choose the following category that best matches your situation to ensure accurate resolution:

I do not recognize a charge on my Discord account | Select this option if you notice charges on your Discord account that you didn't make. This helps us investigate potential unauthorized access to your account. |
I am unsure of which Discord account is associated with the unauthorized charges | Select this option if you're unable to identify which Discord account is linked to the purchase. |
I did not want to be charged for a subscription renewal | Select this option if you were charged for a subscription renewal on your Discord account that you did not want or approve. |
I do not have a Discord account | Select this option if you see charges labeled "DISCORD*" or "PAYPAL DISCORD" on your bank statement but do not have a Discord account. |
Family member of a user | Select this option if a family member used your payment method to make unauthorized purchases on their Discord account. |
Other | Select this option if your situation doesn't match any of the options above. When submitting your request, please provide a detailed description of your specific circumstances. |
Submitting Your Support Request
To submit your request:
1. Visit our support form.
2. Select Refunds, Cancellations & Payments from the What can we help you with? dropdown.
3. Enter your email address.
4. For Type of Billing Issue, select I have a question/issue regarding an unauthorized transaction.
5. Pick the most relevant type of issue you are running into.
6. Include these important payment details in the Description:
- Transaction date and amount
- Payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo, etc.)
- Payment identifier (e.g., last 4 digits of credit card, PayPal invoice ID, $Cashtag, or Venmo User ID, etc.)
- Attach screenshots of the Discord charges on your bank statement
